When Politicians Were Boring (A Wish For My Children)

This is all cyclical historically. I did participate in “duck and cover” drills in elementary school, and we had nightmares about commies (pod people), even though the Cold War was based on half truths and political expediency. Politicians love monsters. If they can’t find one on the news, they are happy to make ’em up to scare the audience.
You will have a chance to vote for boring adult, statesmanlike behavior in November. That would be a vote for Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Sanders. I’m not convinced that nice manners lead to accomplishments, but to me it’s better than rewarding overtly bad manners.
